Most of these minatures were painted in January of 2006 as commission pieces for a customer. They were to be used in an assortment of Necromunda warbands, so while the got a "basic" paintjob I did give them a little extra attention (since they would need to stand on their own rather than as a part of a whole army). As such I used a variety of colours and textures on the Wyrd Beastmaster (well, he is a Wyrd after all) though the photos don't show the contrast of the copper discs on his staff very well. The rats are, well, rats, but I did endevour to give them some texture in their scaly tails, etc. For the Ratskin, I really had to raid my selection of leather-tones. The bases of all the models were left alone so that the owner could match them to his existing warbands/armies.

The exception is the Harlequin conversion which was painted a month later than the others, obstensibly as the beginning of a whole warband, but the customer could not free up the finances for the whole project and this was all I got to do. This model is painted at a "detailed" level, hence the star field on his cloak and the dragon tattoo on his head, as well as the blending on the belt gem. I didn't have a good Harlequin pattern to go from so I mixed and matched bright colours in an effort to acheive a close effect. This was only to be a 'grunt' anyway and therefore not necesarily require some of the crazier patterns.
